Thanks and Reflections

What a wonderful journey we've had - from the training camps at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs to winning the Gold in Argentina at the FIBA Tournament of the Americas.

We are home and time to reflect. WOW!

Traveling Home

At 8:00 am we loaded the bus the morning after the GOLD medal game.  It was a short night for all.  Our 11:05 flight was delayed for about an hour and a half.  We transported from one airport to the other in Buenos Aires.  Samson had set up a dinner and sight seeing, but the delayed flight allowed the wonderful late lunch and then on to the airport.

The ten hour overnight flight got us to Houston by 5 am and from there we all went our ways to home.  With lots of hugs and goodbyes we parted after customs.

Today's game is the game TEAM USA has been preparing for - the GOLD medal game.  We play Canada (4-0) as they beat Puerto Rico last night.
